1 DAY WORKSHOP ON INTERVIEW TECHNIQUES

MMS Department of RMCET Ambav has conducted 1 day workshop on interview techniques on 24th February 2018 for 1st year students and also on 22nd March 2018 for 2nd year students.


As campus interviews were scheduled on 24th March 2018 at Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies, Thane & our students were ready to go for that drive, we have conducted 1 day workshop on Interview Techniques & preparation just 2 days before the date of interview.

Objectives:


·        To guide students about how to clear Aptitude Test.
·        To take practice of Group Discussion.
·        To prepare them for technical rounds.
·        To make them aware about HR critiques.

      Session 1:


     1st session was conducted by Mr. Milind Shinde on Aptitude Preparation. In the same session, an aptitude test of 45 minutes was taken based on general aptitude & English. This session was started at 11.15 am & ended at 12.15 pm. Notes in PDF were also provided to the students for further learning & practice.

     Session 2:

    2nd session was conducted by Ms. Rashmi Ghate & Mr. Milind Shinde on group discussion. Students have been explained about how to jot down the points before starting discussion, how to cut other’s point and how to start conversation. This session was started at 12.15 pm & ended at 1.15 pm. Some topics like Demonetization, Digital India were given to students for discussion.

    Session 3:


3rd session was conducted by Mr. Milind Shinde on HR round critiques. Students have been explained about how to seat during interview, how should be your gestures & postures, how to enter in cabin, how to answer when you have been asked about salary expectations and many more like this. This session was started at 2.15 pm & ended at 3.15 pm. Interview of individual student was taken by a panel of 3 faculty members namely Mr. Milind Shinde, Mrs. Mitalee Chingle & Ms. Rashmi Ghate.



During all these 3 sessions, every faculty has given them technical knowledge about core subjects of Management & General subjects as well.

At the end best wishes has been given to the students for campus interviews. The workshop was all together an interactive and a valuable input to the students.
