Introduction:
HR specialists are responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing & placing right workers at right place. They may also handle employee relations, payroll, benefits & training. HR managers plan, direct and coordinate the administrative functions of an organisation.HR is one of the most important segment of an organisation, therefore in order to make students aware about the various field of working & job opportunities in HR sector, we have organised one guest lecture on same topic on 3rd April 2018 conducted by Ms. Neeta Khamkar.
Guest Speaker:
Ms. Neeta Khamkar is a professional lecturer at Gogate Jogalekar college, Ratnagiri. She is dealing with subjects of Human Resource Management. She has completed MMS from Mumbai University in in 2013 with Ist grade.
About Session:
At the start of session, Ms. Neeta Khamkar mam have explained the importance of HR department in any organisation. Almost all organisations whether they are small or big everyone is having their individual HR department.
After this she has covered following points:
- Introduction of HRM
- Career in HR sector
- Functions of HRM
- Activity Based Learning
At last, Ms. Neeta Khamkar mam has taken one activity of blocks building in which students were jumbled into several groups and each group has prepared good blocks.
Finally the session ended with the vote of thanks given by Mr. Sumit Ambre (MMS Ist year Student).
